Volunteering

We are currently looking for volunteers to support the Sunday School at 10:00am.

For youth who volunteer hours, this counts towards the mandatory community service hours required to graduate high school.

All volunteers must read the Leading With Care documents and sign our Covenant of Care.   Adult volunteers who are over 19 years old must have a valid criminal reference check submitted to the church office before begining.

COVID vaccinations are required for volunteers 12 years of age and older.

Nursery Care is not offered at this time.

Sunday School Teachers:

Teachers can be either adults or older teenagers who are interested in gaining valuable teaching experience.  First Contact teachers follow a curriculum that is provided to them in advance, that is flexible and provides them with the Theme of the week, a bible story, as well as several crafts, activities and games to choose from.

If you are intersted in becoming a Sunday School/First Contact Teacher, please contact the Director of Children & Youth Ministries at firstyouth@rogers.com

First Contact Helpers:

First Contact helpers can be adults or teens (Grade 7+) who are interested in volunteering with First Contact, but who do not want the responsibility of teaching the lesson.  They will work along side the teacher.

If you are interested in being a Sunday School Youth Helper, please sign up by e-mailing firstyouth@rogers.com
