First Youth Players
The First Youth Players presents their rendition of 'Footloose' at the 9a.m. and 10:30a.m. services on Sunday February 14th.
This troupe of 7-16 year olds will deliver an important message to us through drama, dance and singing. Don't miss it!!!
Doing life Together Series begins
Starting Wednesday, Feb 17th
study & discussion series at 7:00pm in the Lower Hall. This 3rd session is called "Growing to be Like Christ!" Using dvd & study guides these 6 sessions equip you for the basic habits of Spiritual growth; relying on the Holy Spirit, cultivating time in the Bible & prayer, seeing life’s obstacles as opportunities for growth & partnering with Christians who are committed to supporting your growth. Grains of Sand concert
Foodbank fundraiser Saturday Feb 20th
An evening with "Grains of Sand" special guests on Feb. 20 at 7:00pm. We had a ball last year! Come out for some great music & support a worthy cause. Bring a friend or neighbour who’s never been to Church. Either bring some non-perishable food items or make a donation during the free-will offering. Refreshments will be provided by Tim Horton's.
First Pres Ski Day
Wednesday Feb 24th Wed. Feb. 24
from 9:00am – 4:00pm at Craigleith Ski Club. Cost is $75. ($50. for ski pass and $25. donation to the Roof Fund) This will be a great time of fellowship and fun. Encourage friends and neighbours to come. Additional donations to the roof fund will be greatly appreciated. Beginner lessons are available at no cost. Sign up sheet will be at the Welcome Centre Sun. Jan. 31.
A Little Night Music
Join us for a cabaret style evening of comedy, musical theatre, opera and jazz, guaranteed to keep you smiling!
Saturday and Sunday March 6th and 7th at 7p.m. No tickets necessary! A freewill offering will be taken.
First Pres Collingwood is a 600 member dynamic church of hundreds of families of all ages, meeting and worshipping together to discover the God we've alway wanted to know. What difference can God make in our lives? How is the Spirit with us? What does God expect from us? Come and be a part of our growing family as we journey toward the answers.
Here is our purpose: to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, as we live out our faith through worship, Christian education, youth ministry, and mission to both local and global communities.
