BURNING BUSH THEATRE PRESENTS “CHRISTMAS JOY”
BURNING BUSH THEATRE IS A FREE MUSIC AND PERFORMANCE GROUP FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN GRADES 1 TO 12.
Highlights:
- BBT is continuing with rehearsals/practices starting on October 9, 2025.
- Registration is required but now closed.
- Rehearsals will be for a combination of the Christmas choir and a Christmas Joy theatrical presentation.
-The participants registered should attend the rehearsals/practices and need to be able to be at the shows and the dates noted below.
- An audition video is required to be submitted if your child or youth would like a speaking role for dialogue and/or narration. See more details below.
Dates: Regular Rehearsals starting October 9 at 5:15 to 6:45 pm
Dress rehearsals are:
- December 7th at 1:30 - 2:30 (Saturday Tech Rehearsal for Christmas Story)
- December 11th at 6:30 - 7:30 pm (Christmas Story Choir Performance Dress Rehearsal)
- December 18th 5:15 - 6:45pm (BBT Pageant Presentation Dress Rehearsal)
Presentations/shows are:
- Christmas Story Presentations on December 13 (matinee), December 14 (matinee & evening); December 15 (evening)
- BBT Christmas Pageant: December 21 (morning)
Details & Audition Submission:
- We are excited to have BBT, the Christmas Choir and Pageant be combined to present “Christmas Joy”.
- If your child indicates that they would like to audition for a speaking role in their registration, you will be sent a separate e-mail with the script, audition instructions
- Audition Videos must be uploaded to: Audition Videos Download Here before September 30th.
- Not all those auditioning may get a speaking part, but the production team will do everything possible for all those auditioning to have a speaking part or otherwise be showcased.
