ALPHA
Are you looking for an exciting, professional, Christian educational and outreach experience? The Alpha program involves no cost for your church and very little of your time and effort. It can be included in your own church’s program and calendar.
Our fifth local Alpha program starts on Thursday March 9 at 7.00pm. Each year we are offering two sessions, one in the fall and one in the spring.
This is an opportunity for churches to offer a quality, proven, basic, Christian education experience to their congregations and communities. Any church that can recruit 8 to 12 people can have their own small group discussions lead by their own leaders if desired, ie this can be your own program. If you have few people interested, they can still join the regional program on their own. It is good for seasoned Christians as well as non believers. There is no cost.

ALPHA BASICS
Alpha is a safe place created for honest, open, authentic dialogue to explore the big questions of faith, life, God and the basics of Christianity.
Alpha is designed for the skeptic, someone from another faith background, the atheist, the new believer, or someone who just has a lot of questions. It has been proven around the world for many years and during covid a new and modern update was developed in an online format.
Using Zoom, there is a time for connection with others, watching a video and then some discussion in a small group of about 6-10 people, all from the comfort of a person’s home!
Alpha is non-denominational and there is no charge to participate.
Sessions last about 1.5 hrs. Thursday sessions start at 7:00 pm.
Guests may participate in the 11 programs but we suggest that everyone sign up for the first session, with no pressure to continue, unless they want to. We find that the drop out rate, in fact, is very low.
