Do you remember Mr. Rogers, the late children's TV host and ordained Presbyterian minister?  When disaster strikes, "Look for the helpers" was his message, as a reminder that there will be people around to help and care for others in their time of need.

Who were the FIRST PRES HELPERS this week?

  • letter writers who sent Easter messages and cards to seniors
  • telephone callers
  • a baker who made cupcakes for delivery
  • those who circulated inspirational quotes and videos
  • sewers who are making protective masks and gowns for Hospice
  • Pastoral Care Team, who connect regularly with church members good Samaritans, who delivered groceries to their neighbours

WANT TO HELP?   Pray for Ron & Janice Fathers, Pauline Russell, the Spears family, Colleen & Susan Woolsey

NEED HELP? If you have a need, a prayer request or would like to have someone pray with you over the phone, please contact me, Catherine Brown, at 705-445-6941 or cjbrown1@rogers.com

INSPIRATION: Leslie, a member of our congregation, painted these kindness rocks. She plans to leave them along the trail where she runs so others can enjoy their positive messages.

FINAL THOUGHT (by Mother Teresa, suggested by Judy Milley) “Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes through which he looks compassion on this world. Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good. Yours are the hands through which he blesses all the world. Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are his body. Christ has no body now on earth but yours.”
