First Pres Youth! Here's what going on:


Youth Group Events
We try to involve the teens at First Pres in all aspects of church life. They are active in the "His Connection" Youth Choir, they volunteer at our monthly "Welcome Table Community Suppers" for the area's needy. They take part Fundraisers like the Cardboard Box Challenge for the homeless and Fish Fry dinners.
In addition to these activities and First Contact, First Pres youth meet at least once a month for an "event". Hmmm, events, you ask? Well, let's see, we've been to concerts, to Raptors games, we've had Fear Factor nights and BBQs. We've tabogganned and snow-boarded and bowled and had Easter sleep-overs and PYPS stuff. (suddenly this is sounding kind of Dr Seussish) The basic idea is to make connections, build relationships, so that "church", and God, becomes something you relate to good times and friendship.
