REV. TIM RAEBURN-GIBSON

After spending the summer of 1999 at First Pres as the student minister, Tim accepted a call to the congregation in January of 2000. Tim loves to boast that he is the first minister to be ordained in Canada in the new millenium. (Surely that must mean something)
Since then, he has fallen in love with the beauty of the area and the people. He has a passion for identifying ways to connect to the unchurched through both traditional and non-traditional means.

Tim is married to the multi-talented Kimberley, (see accompanying picture and bio) and together they share a love for good music in a variety of genres. They also share their home with their four children: Ian, 17, Katya, 16, Taylor, 15, and Haven, 3. (Think, "Old Woman in the Shoe") Common interests are music, (U2), sports, (Leafs), eating together, (just about anything) and "the Backyardigans".

Tim graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a BA in English, worked for several years as a touring club musician until returning to Knox College in 1996. He looks forward to being a part of the team that will continue to transform First Pres into God's face within this growing community.
